Birth of Crimson

Blood red tears hit the ground,  A scarlet wound where no light can escape.  A pure feeling so raw that no word can ever touch it.  My eyes face a blackened sky where nothing may depart.  A single figure, a savior… a sinner.

Resistance  Hot breath on taut skin,  
Toes curl, eyes dim.  A faint beat, a heart that belonged to no-one.  Promises pass parted lips,  Secrets told, trusts broken.  A lie whispered, deceptions laid like prison bars.   
A Puncture  Warm verse flows from silken tongue,  Words lost, melodies forgotten.  A soft moan, a voice that was once so certain.  Faded memories touch on broken thoughts,  Smiles shared, tears hidden.  A life surrendered, given up in search of flesh.
